Amazing Connections

I finally got to meet Roger from PADI, the Professional Divers group and we talked about the association sponsoring a dive drip (hopefully two a year). He was very enthusiastic and agreed to present it to the organization.

He is also interested in helping me organize the golf tournaments in the Bay Area and in Sacramento.

Roger called on Tuesday to tell me he had presented the dive fundraising concept to PADI and asked me to send an email with the details to the organization.

This morning I got a call back from Reginald from Academy of Art University in San Francisco. I had walked to two of their campuses in San Francisco in August, but most of the professors were on vacation.

I talked with Reginald for about a half hour when he agreed he would be happy to put our educational multi media project together with the students. He thought it would be of great advantage for the students to be able to work on something like this!

I’m adding this on Friday because I had another amazing occurence, well three actually.

First, on Tuesday I was thinking I needed to find a way to do a Twitter Campaign to raise funds for UBU so I can put the deposit on the land. I was making business calls and one of the last of the 36 calls I did for the day turned out to be someone who does just that! Now this goes beyond synchronicity!

Then this morning I was interviewed for Paul Jordan and Cynthia James’s hero segment which will be aired on in the next few weeks.

I just got off the phone with Hollis and he is going to donate 2 of his basketball hoops that change the accuracy of shooters to UBU!

The miracles keep coming!

About Sharyn

As founder of UBU I found my inspiration from my brother Tony who was a foster child, then adopted by my parents when he was five. After listening to his stories about the treatment he received while in the homes I began to think of what it was like for him as well as the thousands of other kids. I decided to start the school after Tony passed on in 2008. It is my tribute to him and all that he did for me. Of all the things I've done in my life, this is the one thing that truly makes me feel like I'm finally on the right path.
