Jacque emailed me last week about a company who helps non profits conduct auctions on line to save the time and effort of organizing and distributing items for live in person auctions.
They have been doing this for 8 years now and I was impressed that they called within 48 hours of filling out the information on their website. I’m always impressed the simple things like good business practices.
So far the company has conducted over 12,000 auctions and have more than 120 auctions scheduled currently. They have a database of 225,000 bidders and they notify their database when there is going to be an auction.
They can even pull of the auction in 30 days with the assistance of the non profit using their database and individual supporters to
drive traffic and support the event.
They provide a check list and a proven system to make sure the auction is successful.
So the system is viable.
