I like to check in with my friends every week or so, just to catch up with them and see what they’ve been up to. It’s a great way to re-focus and warm up to business calls.

I was pleasantly surprised when I called my friend Warren today. He started to tell me all about seen Jacque Zoccoli at the Lafayette Chamber event that was at 7 in the morning. She had a table to exhibit information about the Ultimate Business University and to encourage others to become involved.

Jacque had made a great three panel display with the picture of the school and information on how others could get involved by volunteering at the golf tournaments, finding corporate sponsors or even hosting an auction event.

It is an amazing cause, helping getting kids off of the streets and putting them through a school that will insure they have a bright future.

About Sharyn

As founder of UBU I found my inspiration from my brother Tony who was a foster child, then adopted by my parents when he was five. After listening to his stories about the treatment he received while in the homes I began to think of what it was like for him as well as the thousands of other kids. I decided to start the school after Tony passed on in 2008. It is my tribute to him and all that he did for me. Of all the things I've done in my life, this is the one thing that truly makes me feel like I'm finally on the right path.
