Most of the folks involved in UBU are referred to us through someone already connected with the project.

Peter DeNardo is the brother of Dan DeNardo our Project Manager. Peter has been working with non profit organization leaders helping them not only create the best public impression possible but even more important, keeping their name and concept in the public eye.

I was impressed by how much of the website Peter had researched and how knowledgeable he is about UBU. It is rare these days to find someone who is so well prepared.

We talked about the focus of what Peter thought he could do with UBU to make sure we involve people who otherwise might not become aware of what we are about. Where fundraising activity gains attention for a short period of time it is vital to keep our organization in front of the general public.

Peter’s ideas are creative and resourceful. I am looking forward to working with him and having him meet the rest of he team in Belize.

About Sharyn

As founder of UBU I found my inspiration from my brother Tony who was a foster child, then adopted by my parents when he was five. After listening to his stories about the treatment he received while in the homes I began to think of what it was like for him as well as the thousands of other kids. I decided to start the school after Tony passed on in 2008. It is my tribute to him and all that he did for me. Of all the things I've done in my life, this is the one thing that truly makes me feel like I'm finally on the right path.
