I am always amazed at how many people have a connection to Belize. I was in a conversation with someone in San Diego and told them about the school. They knew someone who had moved there ten years ago.
Then I was in Irvine and told another person about the school and her friend is building a house in Belize.
Last weekend I was speaking in Houston and after telling one of the exhibitors about the school, she told me she knows a couple who moved to Belize a few years ago. She knew of another friend who wants to move there.
I was in Denver last weekend and of course talking about the school when one of the other attendees told me how they had been to Belize many times and have been considering moving there.
It’s everywhere I go. People who know of and are fond of Belize. I don’t think I have ever known of a place that had so many people interested in being a part of it.
There is something special about Belize. I’ve often told people it’s like Hawaii 50 years ago. It’s simple, very little commercialism, which is good and the people are generally very friendly.
It’s a great place for our kids to grow up!
